Haven’t you noticed? Louis Vuitton is more and more present, bringing back a certain energy in the mix…

Delphine Arnaud is probably a far bigger explanation than the departure of Marc Jacobs. If the creative genius helped the French Maison in embracing entertainment and digital stories, Delphine Arnaud could really well become what Hannah Ahrendts brought to Burberry: luxury talent, a visionary understanding of the codes of luxury, the daring and ambition to make us dream again. Luxury à la française must be home-based; and if not home-based, it must be made in French.

Look at the very last collaborations: eL-Seed; EINE; Eko Nugroho. 3 Street artists who remind us one of our favorite era: Stephen Sprouse for Louis Vuitton. A bit earlier, we had mentioned the work with the Chapman Brothers

And even more recently, Louis Vuitton declared that they were going to focus on its most prestigious clients…we’ll see how the French leader will handle this subtle loop between keeping on digital entertainment and imagining the next luxury…

Louis Vuitton smells like teen spirit. And we’re more than happy to watch it coming.
